Short Term Mission Groups Are Always Welcome
Every year, Mike Black Ministries hosts up to 4 short term mission groups that work directly with us.
We charge $400 per person (not including the air fare) for a 7-day package that includes food, transportation, projects, lodging and miscelaneous experiences.
In the first of the following two presentations you will find a youth group from East Coast Christian Center, Merrit Island, Florida, and the second presentation is from a group from Freedom Christian Center, Melbourne, Florida.
Enjoy the fun!

Family Time With My Kids On An Active Volcano
April 2009
Guatemala has more than 30 volcanoes in a country the size of Tennessee and many of these are active. The volcano we climbed is called Pacaya. It’s very active and is around 50 miles from Guatemala City. It stands 8,376 ft. above sea level and the last time it erupted was in 1998, dumping ash on the city and closing the airport due to poor visibility and ash getting into jet engines.
Pacaya is very easy to climb until the last 1,000 ft., which is almost straight up and on very loose lava rock.
I had a great time with my kids from the States and with those who live with us in Guatemala.
Enjoy the pictures!
