Children’s Ministry Update, El Rejón, July 2008

Children’s Club, El Rejón, Guatemala, July 2008

We began our second Children’s Club in a remote mountain village in November 2007 with immediate success.  We minister to 220 Mayan children every Saturday.

Within the last couple of weeks, we bought 200 colorful chairs and were blessed to receive a short term mission team from East Coast Christian Center, Merritt Island, Florida.

This church purchased about 500 pairs of new shoes for these kids, which we distributed as part of their project.

Some of these kids had never owned a pair of shoes, and I saw that one child was using plastic bags for socks.

We want to thank ECCC for their help and the shoes with a grateful heart.

In conclusion, Mike Black Ministries would like to buy a piece of property for this program.  The place where we are at now, is very small and there is not enough space for the growth we are experiencing.  We need a donation of $ 3 thousand to buy a piece of property that will give us the space we need.

If you would like to make a contribution to this children’s outreach, we would be eternally grateful.  Click on “Contact” for more information.
