Update – April 2018

Dear Friends,

Thanks for reading our update and being so faithful to us and to God’s work in Guatemala. Together, we are making a big difference in the people with whom we come in contact.

Since our last electronic update:

  1. We have hosted two great short-term mission groups, back to back, one group from Mississippi and the other from Florida.
  2. Worked on cosmetically remodeling our ministry center where our groups stay.
  3. Made a food delivery to our feeding program in our mountain desert project.
  4. We have done some ministry outside of my church.

ECCC Team - Update April

We had such a great time with these guys.  Some highlights of our experiences together were:

  • giving out almost 600 pairs of new shoes to the children
  • replacing the roof on our kitchen where we have our biggest feeding program
  • seeing the Love of God flowing out of this group towards the people

Move Church - Update

Move Church

We had met Pastor Bob Kuhn and his group of 9 for the first time at the airport and what a divine connection!  Such humble people with servants’ hearts.

Some of our highlights together were:

  • Our yearly summer “Splash” in Piedra Ancha and El Rejón.
  • Feeding the community of about 300 people and giving out 300 lbs. of good clothing.
  • Working at the feeding program and afterwards going for ice cream.

Food delivery to Feeding Program

Food delivery

We take food up to our feeding program in our mountain/desert project every 6 weeks. Even though this place is only 70 miles from our house, in order to get there, the traffic consumes about 7 to 8 hours of our time.

In Conclusion:

We pray for you all every day and give God thanks for your prayers and financial support.

Sincerely,

Mike and Pat Black
