Update July 2019

Dearest Friends of the Ministry,
We hope all is well with you, may God continue bless you!

We have an urgent prayer request

This Tuesday the 23rd of July, our adopted son, Porfirio has an interview with the U.S. Embassy in Guatemala for the purpose of renewing his tourist visa to the United States.

He has had one for 20 years without abusing it. When we reapplied a few months ago, he was denied, so we have reapplied, and it has already failed the first filter.  Porfirio has an appointment on the 23rd of July, the last filter, and we need a “yes”.

What is a tourist visa?  A tourist visa gives a foreigner access to enter the United States only for a visit.  Even though both of our adopted kids have our legal name and are children of US citizens, they have no U.S. privileges for visiting. Without this visa, my son cannot travel with Pat and I to the States, everPlease pray for our breakthrough.

A feeding program is the result of knowing the hardships and the poverty in which these children live. Standing in the gap for these kids is so right. Thanks for your financial help.

“Defend the poor and fatherless:
do justice to the afflicted and needy.
Deliver the poor and needy:
rid them out of the hand of the wicked.”

Psalms 82:3-4

Out of our Children’s Club, came a youth group

Our kids grew into teenagers and now we have a youth group of about 45 of them. We meet after the Children’s Club on Saturday and worship, receive the Word and have a snack.

We recently gave these kids a Bible which they never had before and a Cartoon Bible which they enjoy.

Well thanks for reading our update and praying for the tourist visa for Porfirio.  This victory is going to affect all my family in the States as well as down here.

Our Love to all,
