Update March 2020

Hello Everybody!

We hope you are doing well and continuing to contend for the faith.  Knowing God and serving Him is the very best that anybody can achieve in their life. Keep on keeping on!

“February was a very heavy month as far as our work goes, but fruitful”

A Seder dinner, Wow

Pat has been working on organizing a “Seder” dinner for our church since January, which we will be celebrating this Saturday.

This is the first time our church is doing something like this and explaining what the Passover meal is.  It has been a challenge for our people to grasp, but we are getting there.

We have 65 people signed up to step into a new dimension of Bible history and experience a fresh understanding of the last supper before Jesus went to the cross.

A four day run to Florida

I went to Florida in February for the weekend to say hi to our friends at Faith Fellowship Church of Melbourne.  This great church has been helping us build the Kingdom of God in Guatemala for the last 25 years.

Included in this particular visit, I had the privilege of meeting about 45 children who awhile ago, raised hundreds of dollars through their VBS program to buy blankets for the children we work with in Guatemala.  It gets cold where we live and the kids really appreciated receiving their own blanket.

Recently started working with 2 new pastors

Pastor Juan, Guatemala City

This work officially started in February. The pastor of this church is Juan, 22 years old, who grew up in our church since birth.  His Dad is a Bible School graduate from our Bible School from 28 years ago and was our Music Leader for about 14 years. This kid is amazing and is a worshipper.  And…

Pastor Edgar, Sumpango, Guatemala

I met this young pastor, Edgar, through social media a few months ago.  His church is about 6 months old and is located near our Children’s Program in El Rejon. He has a deep conviction to reach out to alcoholics with a good success rate.

One observation of concern about this marvelous man of God and his family, is that they are one of the poorest and neediest people that I have met in my life.   And yet they continue to reach out to the world with the gospel.

This kids grew up in our Children’s Program

Just wanted to share the photo.  We worship together, share the Word and hang out with these young people, about 40 of them every Saturday after the Children’s Club.

Pat and I extend our deepest gratitude to all of you who faithfully pray for us and help us financially.  Your concern and remembrance of us is a divine phenomenon that you carry in your heart. So amazing!

“For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labor of love, which ye have showed toward His Name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.”

Heb 6:10

Love you all so much,
